About Circle Time Child Care

Circle Time Child Care serves children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, from infant through preschool.

All Circle Time locations operate Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Yes. Circle Time Child Care is a licensed childcare center and follows all state regulations for safety, staff training, and teacher-to-child ratios.

We believe young children learn best through play, exploration, and structure. Our teachers create warm, engaging classrooms with daily activities in art, music, movement, language, and early math and science.

We follow all required state ratios and aim to keep group sizes small to ensure meaningful attention and care.

Our Kensington location offers an optional meal program.

Wheaton and Silver Spring families provide their child’s meals and snacks from home.

• Infants and young toddlers: Families supply diapers, wipes, and creams. Teachers change children regularly and as needed.

• Older toddlers & preschoolers: We work closely with families to support potty training in a gentle, consistent way.

Families receive a verbal update at pick-up each day. Teachers share how your child ate, slept, played, and any highlights from their day.

We use secure entry procedures, supervised classrooms, strict sign-in/out policies, and regular safety drills. All staff are trained in CPR and first aid.

For the wellbeing of all children and staff, we follow clear guidelines on when a child must stay home (fever, vomiting, contagious illness, etc.) and when they may return. This policy is provided in the parent handbook during enrollment.
